August 5 — Whittier - Land Adventure Begins
Leaving Whittier behind, we venture into the heart of the Great Land, where Alaska opens up in an entirely different way.
As we make our way toward Denali, dramatic landscapes, incredible wildlife and vast stretches of untamed wilderness take center stage—revealing a side of Alaska that simply can’t be experienced from the shoreline.
This is where Alaska becomes more than a cruise—it becomes an adventure.

August 5 — Travel by rail from Whittier to Talkeetna, then continue by motorcoach to Mt. McKinley Princess Wilderness Lodge.
August 6 — Enjoy a full day at Mt. McKinley Princess Wilderness Lodge, surrounded by the spectacular wilderness of the Denali region. Take time to relax, explore the lodge and enjoy the incredible surroundings before we continue deeper into Alaska’s interior.
Experience the magnificent wilderness of Denali National Park, where towering peaks, sweeping landscapes and the possibility of spotting Alaska’s iconic wildlife make this one of the most anticipated stops of our adventure.
August 7 — Travel by motorcoach to Denali Princess Wilderness Lodge, our home for the next two nights.
August 8 — Venture into Denali National Park on the Natural History Tour, with the option to upgrade to the more immersive Tundra Wilderness Tour.
Our Alaska adventure concludes in Fairbanks, where the history, culture and pioneering spirit of Alaska’s Interior come to life.
August 9 — Travel by motorcoach to Fairbanks, then step aboard a classic sternwheeler for an afternoon cruise along the Chena River. Settle in for our final night in Alaska’s Great Land.
August 10 — Transfer to Fairbanks International Airport for our flight home, bringing an unforgettable Alaska by Land & Sea adventure to a close.
